Now that it has been confirmed that Apple will be holding a conference on September 10th, the analysts of the consumer electronics are already looking for what’s next. The rumors keep buzzing in about the new iPhone and the launch of the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.
Min Chi Kyo of KGI Securities stated that he expects the Cupertino giants to unveil the iPad 5 as well as iPad Mini 2 both sporting retina displays and A7X chips as early as fourth quarter of 2013 and 2014 maybe, in case of an alternative budget iPad Mini. Looking at it logically, there may be a hint of truth about this prediction as Apple are known to refresh the lineup of iPads every year, we have not had any refreshes in 2013 yet and with the iPhone event set to be held in September, there would be no other time but the final quarter of the year to hold an iPad event. There is a possibility of a cheaper iPad Mini 2 running an older generation A6 processor, but again, it’s all rumors as of now.
There were murmers that Apple might not go with Retina display on the iPad Mini 2, but seeing as how there is competition from Nexus 7 and its true HD 1080 P display, we may see Apple push for the retina display.
