Apple’s latest OS announcement, Mavericks, was shown off at WWDC in June and has since been in beta. Some of the key features of Mac OSX Mavericks is the support for Multi Monitor Setup, a power user feature in Finder, a better calender app, faster Safari and integration of Maps.

It has been noted that Apple released both the OSX Lion and OSX Mountain Lion just a day after the Q4 earnings call. If the same pattern is to be followed, then the earnings call may well happen somewhere around second week of October. The latest Beta of Mavericks was released last week.
